On January 4, 2027, Arts Culture Catawba will hold its second annual Arts Education Summit. This event will bring together all of the county's school teachers across all grade levels in the arts (including visual art, music, drama, band, chorus and more!) for a day of learning, resource-sharing, and networking. School district representatives, City and County leadership, and any others invested in the arts are also welcome to attend.
The event will feature vendor tables by local arts/cultural organizations and colleges, breakout discussion sessions on multiple topics relevant to arts educators for collective learning and problem-solving, keynote speakers to share additional knowledge, and the presentation of Arts Culture Catawba's Arts Education Teacher Grants. Teachers may earn 0.6 CEU credits by attending the whole day.
Grant applications for the Arts Education Teacher Grants are open now and are available within the K-12 Teacher Registration form. Previous grant recipients must wait at least two years until applying again.
If you are appyling for an educator grant, you must submit your registration by October 19th in order to be eligible for consideration.
All other registrations must be entered by December 23rd. We hope to see you there!
