General Information
Calling all artists! Arts Culture Catawba is looking for artists to exhibit in 2026 at our Art Wall Gallery space, located in our offices that we share with the SALT Block Foundation. We typically feature one artist per quarter, although we occasionally feature a pairing of artists or a themed group.
Each quarter, Arts Culture Catawba hosts an artist reception to kick off each new exhibit. We invite the entire community to enjoy light refreshments, view your work, and host an artist talk where you have the opportunity to speak about your work and answer questions from the audience. Each exhibit will remain on display for approximately three months and will be seen by numerous daily visitors to our space.
If permitted, the art on display will be available for sale. The artist will supply an inventory list of all work on display, indicating whether a piece is for sale and its value. At our office, we can accept a check addressed directly to the artist, the artist’s Venmo, or cash. The piece will be marked as sold until the end of the exhibit period, where we will make arrangements for it to be collected by the buyer. The artist can collect their checks/cash at our office, or we can send it by mail. All proceeds go towards the artist, but we ask that exhibiting artists donate a portion of their proceeds to Arts Culture Catawba.
You must submit an application by September 30, 2025 in order to be considered for the 2026 schedule. 2026 exhibiting artists will be evaluated and selected by a panel of professional artists. The application contains questions for contact information and artist information, including an Artist Statement, Artist Resume, and up to 6 work samples.
Selection Process
Each application will be reviewed and scored by a panel of professional artists. Panelists will first score work samples based on the following artistic criteria:

-
Representation of both emerging and established artists
-
Diversity of artistic styles
-
Potential pairings of artists - complimentary subject content
