How We Define Disciplines
We utilize the categories used by the North Carolina Arts Council with additions specific to artistic practices in our area.
I use acrylic paints to fuse together the styles of impressionism and sketching. My brush strokes are bold and loose while my sketching is free flowing and intricate.
I have always enjoyed capturing the beauty of nature in photographs, and gravitate toward landscape painting. I hope to continue learning and painting, as art provides both challenge and fulfillment.
